What is a CEREC Crown and Why Choose It?

A CEREC is made using a specialized machine that produces dental crowns in just a matter of minutes. How does a CEREC crown work?

They will then take a 3D image of the tooth, which is sent to the CEREC machine so the dentist can look at the image and make any necessary adjustments to the image. Once the crown design is finalized and approved, the machine will then begin to create the crown. The dentist will then polish and color match the new crown so that it resembles the rest of the patient's teeth, making it hard to see the difference between the crown and the rest of the teeth. Upon dentist and patient approval, the crown will then be cemented into its permanent place.
